The vision was to allow users to find the right information, share knowledge, create tasks, collaborate in meetings, and manage shifts, all within their existing collaboration hub.
The outcome was a functional prototype presented at Microsoft Build, demonstrating how 3rd-party apps can extend Teams into specialized domains like retail inventory. It showed how embedding dashboards and task management into Teams reduces context switching and boosts productivity.
